Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Redstone Ridge Medical Partners designs and makes medical devices in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
