Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Redstone Juniper Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
