Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Philadelphia, PA)

Foxglove Ivory Health Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
