Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Orlando, FL)

Ironwood Granite Water Authority is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
