Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Orlando, FL)

Bluepeak Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Orlando, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
