Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Omaha, NE)

Bright Pine Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Omaha. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
