Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Ember Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Memphis. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
