Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Louisville, KY)

Rivermark Orchard Telecom is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
