Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone Umber Facilities Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
