Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Kansas City, MO)

Rivermark Timber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Kansas City area. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
