Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Medical is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
