Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Vale Insurance and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
