Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood North Community Partners runs community programmes across Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 78 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
