Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Ember Community Partners Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
