Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Lantern Water Authority and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
