Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Quill Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
