Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge West Telecom Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
