Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Forge Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
