Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Fresno, CA)

Clearpath Wilder Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
