Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Fort Worth, TX)

Northwind Birch Care Services Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
