Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Union Legal Group is a Fort Worth practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines.
