Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Columbus, OH)

Greenridge Basin Legal Group is a law firm in Columbus serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
