Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Summit Bright Early Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
