Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Cleveland, OH)

Westbrook Birch Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
