Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Junction Community Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
