Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge North Insurance is an insurance company in Charleston with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about underwriting files into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
