Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
