Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Boise, ID)

Ironwood Meadow Learning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Boise. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
