Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Boise, ID)

Redstone Meadow Learning Group is an education provider in Boise serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 590 people based in Boise. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
