Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Boise, ID)

Harborlight Lakeside Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
