Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Austin, TX)

Greenridge Kestrel Community Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
