Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Austin, TX)

Greenridge Iron Pharma is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
