Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Austin serving students and families, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
