Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Fox Medical is a Albuquerque company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
