Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Tucson, AZ)

Bluepeak Kestrel Community Partners is a Tucson charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 447 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
