Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (St. Louis, MO)

Rivermark Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in St. Louis, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about underwriting files into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
