Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Lantern Learning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
