Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Sparrow Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Rochester with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
