Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Wilder Learning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Reno. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
