Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Nova Lantern Learning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
