Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Loom Insurance Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about catastrophe response into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
