Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Summit Sable Community Partners is a Anchorage charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
