Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Westbrook Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Fort Worth serving students and families, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
