Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Bright Quill Legal Group Partners provides legal services in Birmingham across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about document review into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
