Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Sparrow Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
