Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Fernwood Corner Medical is a Fort Worth company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
