Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Highbridge Rook Community Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
