Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Harbor Transit Planning and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 568 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about route schedules into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
