Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Bridge Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Turn requests about usage data into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
