Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bright Financial and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
